Budget (7)
- New: "Why this number?" next to Ready to assign: it shows what carried over, the income that arrived, what you assigned and any overspending, and it adds up exactly.
- New: "Split…": type how much goes to each envelope, watch Ready to assign update as you type, and apply it all at once (and undo it all at once).
- New: simulate a goal: "if I set aside $X a month, I reach it in…" or "by that date I need $X a month", without touching your real goal.
- A negative assignment in a future month no longer shows up as money to assign today.
- Simple mode keeps its 5-envelope limit when you show a hidden group or turn a card into a regular account.
- "Assign to an envelope" works even with the "With activity" filter on.
- Double-clicking or pressing Enter no longer creates duplicate envelopes, groups or rules.
Transactions and recording (9)
- New: saved searches: save a set of filters (for example "Groceries this year") and reuse it in one click, also from Ctrl+K.
- The amount filter reads "1,500" as 1,500, not 1.5.
- "Clear filters" also clears the search and the period.
- Going to Transactions from another account no longer keeps the previous month filter.
- Amounts round the same on screen and when saved (for example, 1.005 → 1.01).
- "Repeat" goes back to "Doesn't repeat" when you cancel an entry.
- A late suggestion no longer switches a Transfer to Income.
- Editing one part of a split expense in another currency applies the rate you type.
- Keyboard shortcuts no longer switch screens while a dialog is open.
Accounts and reconciling (4)
- New: reconcile with review: tick each transaction against your statement and see what's left until it says "Balanced"; an adjustment is created only if you accept it.
- New: balance by currency in Reports: how much you have in each currency, its equivalent and the rate used.
- A manual rate with a future date no longer changes what your accounts are worth today.
- "In 30 days" tells you when it can't be fully worked out because a currency rate is missing.
Scheduled payments (5)
- New: payment calendar: a month grid with what you pay each day and the total on busy days.
- "Next 30 days" counts weeks correctly (a payment 14 days away says "In 2 weeks").
- You can manage and export your payments even when none falls in the next 30 days.
- "Resume" suggests a valid date and, if the series already ended, says so and lets you change its end date.
- Changing a scheduled payment from Income to Expense no longer saves it as negative income.
Bank imports (8)
- "$(10.00)" and "DR 12.50" are read as expenses.
- Dates in an Excel file saved on a Mac (1904 date system) no longer shift by 4 years.
- "Withdrawal / Deposit" columns are recognized as debit and credit.
- An amount with an unclosed parenthesis is marked as a row error instead of coming in as income.
- Dropping another file while the first one is being read no longer mixes their columns.
- Accents in an OFX file that declares its encoding with spaces or single quotes are read correctly.
- When re-importing a CFDI, a lowercase folio is recognized as a duplicate.
- YNAB: if dates could be month/day or day/month, the app asks you instead of guessing, and the starting balance comes in as a starting balance.
Reports (5)
- New: assigned versus spent per envelope, with the ones most over plan first.
- New: year in review: 12 months per envelope to spot seasonal spending, with CSV export.
- "Month vs month" no longer shows a misleading percentage when the base month was negative.
- If a period can't be loaded, Reports says so and offers to retry instead of showing the previous one.
- "Cushion" and the exchange-rate effect flag currencies without a rate and don't count future-dated money.
Envelopes and settings (3)
- New: before deleting an envelope you see how many transactions, rules and payments it has, and choose to merge it, leave them without an envelope, or hide it.
- In private mode the "Recorded" notice also blurs the amount, and Ctrl+K search no longer shows payments from another budget.
- If the text size can't be saved, it goes back to the previous one and tells you.
Safer (5)
- Huge spreadsheets, or ones built to freeze the app, are rejected without using all the memory.
- When opening, Ensobre only accepts files with the structure it creates itself.
- If your encrypted file shows up without a password, the app warns you before opening it; changing a password asks for the current one.
- Saving and exporting only write where you chose, and never over your backups.
- The CSV and calendar files you export are cleaned of formulas and odd line breaks.
