Budget and envelopes (6)
- New: each envelope warns you when it won't cover its scheduled payments in the next 30 days, with a button to assign what's missing.
- New: show only the envelopes with activity or money assigned this month, without hiding anything for good.
- If Ready to assign is negative because of spending without an envelope, a button opens those transactions filtered to the budget month.
- Quick assign previews how many envelopes will change, the assignment total and the remaining Ready to assign amount before confirmation.
- Envelope groups can be collapsed, expanded all at once and remembered per budget without changing financial data.
- Keyboard focus is clearer on envelopes, transactions, buttons and help in both themes, without a ring on mouse click.
Transactions (4)
- New: import history. See every file you imported, filter its transactions and undo it if you made a mistake.
- New: search transactions by amount with "From" and "To" (find that charge of about 799 even if you don't remember the merchant).
- Export CSV warns when filters are active and explains which transactions it will include.
- Transactions summary cards name the current month for money in and money out.
Bank imports (11)
- New: if an Excel file has several sheets, you choose which one to import; the app suggests the one with date and amount.
- "Select all" no longer re-includes rows in another currency: euros can no longer be saved as if they were dollars.
- Importing a second file whose dates overlap the first one no longer changes the account's current balance.
- CFDI invoices with an Addenda: the invoice's real date, amount and currency are read.
- OFX files with comments no longer mix up a transaction's amount or date.
- A QIF file with several accounts no longer mixes their transactions: the first account is imported and you're told.
- The typographic minus sign (−) in some CSV files is now read as negative.
- A date with odd characters in a CSV file becomes a row error instead of stopping the import.
- YNAB: "Uncleared" transactions are no longer imported as reconciled.
- YNAB: each side of a transfer keeps its own reconciled state.
- YNAB: a category whose name contains "Ready to Assign" no longer turns an expense into income.
Accounts and cards (6)
- New: before closing an account with scheduled payments, you choose whether each one moves to another account or is deleted.
- With two credit cards, an overspent envelope is no longer subtracted twice from "Ready to pay".
- Reconciling a credit card no longer shows "ready to pay" money that doesn't exist: the adjustment counts as a charge.
- Reconcile suggests today's balance, without counting future-dated transactions.
- An account with future-dated transactions can no longer be closed by mistake.
- Changing the date of a split expense in another currency recalculates its value with the new date's rate.
Currencies (3)
- When changing the main currency, a third currency (yen, for example) keeps the right rate on every date.
- The change-currency assistant can no longer show an old calculation if you switch options quickly.
- Changing the main currency with an extreme rate shows a message instead of freezing the app.
Your data and privacy (5)
- New: privacy screen. Press Ctrl+Shift+H (or the eye button) to hide your balances if someone looks over your shoulder.
- When you set a password, every automatic backup is protected, even if the file was opened by typing its name with different capitalization.
- Exporting a copy can no longer overwrite a budget that is open in another window.
- Exporting to SQLite can no longer touch another file with a similar name.
- If your file is missing and the app opens its latest copy, it now tells you.
Settings (2)
- New: change your budget's main currency (a converted copy is created; your original file is not touched).
- New Settings option to hide the help (?) buttons in Budget once you know the app.
