Bank imports (17)

  1. New: fix a row's date or amount before importing it; the original value is shown beside it and duplicates are checked again.
  2. A QIF file no longer changes a transaction's date because of a category description.
  3. A CSV file with multi-line text is read with the right separator.
  4. In a CSV file, an amount like "12+34" is no longer read as 1234: it's marked as a row error.
  5. A CSV file that mentions "OFXHEADER" in a description is now recognized as CSV and can be imported.
  6. An OFX file with two statements uses the right closing balance.
  7. Accents in an OFX file are read correctly even when its header uses single quotes.
  8. An OFX file with amounts written as character codes (-) or in CDATA blocks now imports.
  9. In an Excel file, the sheet with date and amount columns is chosen, not the biggest one.
  10. A huge sheet inside an Excel file no longer blocks choosing the good one: it's shown as "too large".
  11. A column called "Mandate" is no longer taken as a date.
  12. Excel amounts with 8 decimals are kept in full.
  13. "Excel" tables that are really HTML with merged cells no longer lose rows.
  14. When looking for duplicates, the bank's identifier (FITID) wins over date and amount.
  15. YNAB: a budget whose name starts with "Register" is no longer mistaken for the transaction register.
  16. Importing into a closed account is no longer possible.
  17. Import history: an imported transaction you later split counts only once.

Scheduled and recurring payments (7)

  1. New: pause and resume a scheduled payment without deleting it; while paused it's left out of upcoming items and forecasts.
  2. A recurring refund is suggested as income, not as an expense.
  3. A future-dated transaction no longer hides a recurring-payment suggestion.
  4. The suggestion uses the envelope of recent payments, not of old ones.
  5. A small refund no longer counts as another charge in the series.
  6. A one-off big purchase no longer hides a smaller payment that does repeat.
  7. "In 30 days" no longer counts transactions dated after those 30 days.

Budget and envelopes (6)

  1. "Will the envelope cover it?" compares each payment with the money the envelope has on that payment's date: it understands money assigned to next month and later refunds.
  2. "Will the envelope cover it?" tells you when it can't check a payment because its currency rate is missing.
  3. "With activity" also shows envelopes whose expense and refund add up to zero.
  4. A by-date goal shows what's really missing even if you spent part of the savings.
  5. Setting a goal on an envelope that no longer exists now warns you instead of saying it was saved.
  6. In Simple mode you can show a debt envelope again even with 5 envelopes already.

Accounts and transactions (6)

  1. New: when you record an expense, the app suggests the account you usually use with that merchant (it never switches it by itself).
  2. A closed account can't be reconciled, and a reconcile adjustment that is too large is rejected.
  3. A credit card you change to a regular account releases its debt envelope, which becomes a regular one.
  4. A transaction can no longer be moved into a closed account when editing it.
  5. Search by amount uses exact limits: "From 1.001" no longer includes 1.00.
  6. "This year" no longer shows or exports transactions from future years, and "Last 90 days" ends today.

Reports and currencies (2)

  1. A closed account whose transactions add up to zero in a month still appears in the charts.
  2. Currencies without a symbol (like the Kuwaiti dinar) no longer show their code twice.

Your data and privacy (2)

  1. New: recover an automatic backup as a new file (Settings → Security → See copies), without touching your open budget.
  2. Improved private mode: press Ctrl+Shift+H to blur your amounts and keep using the app.

The app (4)

  1. New: tips that show up now and then with app tricks, facts about your money and the envelope method (turn them off in Settings).
  2. New: after an update, a window tells you once what's new in that version.
  3. New: startup animation.
  4. New: "Skip to content" with the keyboard, and when you switch screens the focus moves to its title.
